Penedo Escape Nature is the perfect getaway in Colares. It is a 45 minute drive from Lisbon and a 20 minute drive to Sintra. The location is close to several beaches and is perfect for day trips. The people are very friendly and there is a lot on the property to keep you relaxed and entertained. The pool area is beautiful and I loved the free yoga classes offered in the dojo.

Penedo Escape Nature is the peace you have been searching for. This space is completely serene and natural, tucked away in the heart of the Colares woods. It boasts a beautiful pool, dojo, animal farm, and community garden. This place will always have a space in my heart.

Absolutely magical! Penedo Escape is a little slice of heaven. Nestled in nature, it offers the perfect balance of peace and serenity. During my stay, I felt completely at ease, surrounded by the beauty of the land and gentle energy of the space. The ocean and other attractions are easily reachable, although I enjoyed just staying on the property. I especially loved the free yoga classes and highly recommend attending (Alex was an amazing instructor!). Truly a special place - I can’t wait to return.

Amazingly peaceful getaway in a small town. Easy access to the beaches, lighthouse, cliffs and Sintra's palaces. The staff were lovely. The pool area is perfect to relax and unwind. Lovely simple breakfast served each morning with a few down the cliffs. Ducks and other animals roaming around the grassy area give it a very rustic vibe. The rooms are clean, modern and well sized.

Location was amazing, the place is well taken care of and is in a quiet area, breakfast is served in a raised living room overlooking the ocean. Ursa beach is within hiking distance. You can also easily drive to other local beaches, Sintra attractions, Estoril, Cascais, farmer's market and more.

Il faut mentionner l'heure de notre petit déjeuner. À l'heure dite, notre déjeuner était servi à la terrasse. Il s'agit de croissant, pain, beurre, confiture, jus d'orange, jambon et fromage. C'est très calme et tranquille et la vue est belle.
